• Connection Groups
Deeper relationships w/small group of peers & adult mentors, in-depth look at topics
9th Grade students meet primarily in small connection groups made up of their peers and a couple adult leaders. These connection groups meet a few times each month, based on days and times that their schedules allow, and serve as a way to get more in-depth with the bible and faith topics. Groups, with the help of their leaders, will choose from a small library of options including video studies, books, and a session to prepare their faith projects.
Education component, meet new peers, share big concepts
– How do I navigate life as a person of faith?
– Leadership; Structure of the Church
– What does it mean to be a godly leader in the world?
9th Grade students will also sign up for two workshops offered during the year about “What do we do when someone dies?” and “How can I be a Godly leader?” Students will also attend one of two weekend retreats offered during the year.
