What are the different Prayer Ministries?
Altar Prayer
Altar prayer consists of several prayer ministers who have a heart for praying with others. They are available right after worship on the 3rd Sunday of every month to lift up your joys and concerns in prayer.
Prayer Chain
Prayer requests are received via weekend prayer request forms and e-mails. Requests are then sent via e-mail to prayer chain members to pray for those needs. All prayer requests are confidential.

Prayer Shawls
The King of Kings Prayer Shawl Group serves as one way to fulfill the mission statement for our church – equipping people for God’s work in the world. We turn in, label and bind the prayer shawls that have been completed during the previous month, discuss the current level of need for different sizes/types of shawls, read the lovely thank you notes that we have received from the past month, and most importantly, spend time knitting or crocheting on our current shawl projects. We welcome anyone who’d like to knit or crochet shawls to join us, as well as those who would like to learn how – we have many able teachers, as well as instruction books and materials. There are few more tangible and lasting ways for us to show someone how much God loves them than to give them a shawl crafted by prayerful, loving hands as a warm embrace whenever they need it.
- When: 1st Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm-8:30pm
