Advent 3 – When Plans Change
Sunday, December 16

This weekend in worship we will be looking at Luke 2:1-7 which gives us a glimmer on how plans often change even for people who are following God’s plan. Mary and Joseph were obviously following God, yet when they got to the inn and it was full, they had no place to stay. How can we continue to hang on to faith in the midst of the dips and turns in life? Maybe you’ve come to a detour in the plan God set before you and you are trying to hang on to faith in the midst of changing plans. We encourage you to take a minute to pray God’s Word today and remember that detours are often amazing and beautiful. We are looking forward to seeing you in worship!

Please read Luke 2:1-7

Dear Heavenly Father,
In your light we see light (Psalm 9:36:9)
We walk by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Do not fret (Psalm 37:1, 7, 8)
God has good plans (Jeremiah 29:11)
He does not change (Psalm 55:19)
The answer’s in His hands (John 3:35)
