Bulletin January 12/13

Scripture: Genesis 13:8-13

Homework: Read Genesis 12:1-4a: God’s call to Abram; how might God be nudging or calling you out of your comfort zone? Read Titus 3:4-7: God says all families on earth will be blessed through Abram. Consider praying verse 7 and what that blessing or inheritance means for us today.

Bulletin January 19/20

Scripture: Genesis 14:17-24

Homework: Read Ephesians 1:3-8. Notice the verbs; blessed, chose, predestined, adopted, bestowed, loves, lavished. What does this say about God’s nature? Read Hebrews 7:23-28. Notice how Jesus, the Great High Priest is set apart from Melchizedek and the rest of us. In prayer, how might you ask him to intercede for you?
