Congregational Learning/Small Groups

Are you looking to grow spiritually? Do you long to have a stronger faith but not sure how to do that? Are you looking to make new friends and build relationships?

This is a great place to start!

Growing spiritually doesn’t happen just when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we put His Words into action in our lives and we do that best when we are connected to others within a community of faith. King of Kings offers many opportunities to grow stronger in faith and to be in closer community with others. No matter where you are in your faith walk, we invite you to come, learn and grow in God’s love with others. Please take some time to look through these groups and discussions below and see where God is leading you so you can grow stronger in Him.

If you have questions about any of these opportunities and how you can get involved, please contact the individuals listed with each group or contact Sue Oberg. We would love to help you on your journey of faith!

Sunday Forum will resume on September 19 at 8:30 a.m. in the West Conference Room. The topic will be What Makes You Happy? by Andy Stanley. Everybody seeks to be happy. For many people, happiness is measured in moments or fleeting experiences. Andy Stanley will explore 3 things that all happy people have in common.
Connection Groups, or Small Groups as they are better known, give us a place to connect with others and grow in faith while making a large church feel like home! Anyone can start or join a Connection Group with their friends, spouses, or others both in or outside of the church. Groups consist of 6-12 people committed to meeting regularly for study, prayer, and service. Training is provided for those wishing to start a Connection Group of their own.

Life is done in circles, not rows. We circle up around the table. We circle up around the campfire. We circle up around almost everything in life, so why do we try to do this thing called faith in rows?

Many times people wait until they, their marriage, or their families, are falling apart before they seek God and other believers. Wouldn’t those life-turns and ups-and-downs be easier to manage if you knew God was at the wheel and you had a family of faith riding with you? Join a group today and circle up to live out your faith. It is the way God always intended it to be!
