TRIP PURPOSE
We grow closer to God and one another through the intentional exchange of people, stories, and shared experiences across continents and cultures. Whenever two or more are gathered in Christ’s name, we profess, there Christ is. Travel, therefore, is an integral part of our life together. We want to meet people where they are and deepen our relationships with them.
King of Kings members have had many visits to Tanzania to develop relationships; however, due to Covid travel was restricted. This trip will be a “Re-Start” of building our relationship with various groups in Tanzania that King of Kings members are supporting through the church’s benevolence. The members of this missionary trip are Pam & Dan Hoeffel, Lori Rosenow, Merary Garcia, and Deb & Bob Bowman.
Bega Kwa Bega [shoulder to shoulder] is Saint Paul Area Synod’s companion synod relationship with the Iringa Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. The practice of being present is one of the pillars of our relationship with Iringa Diocese. We look forward to growing in faith and relationship with them!
