9th-12th Grade Education

King of Kings offers several education opportunities for older kids and teens, from our new high school youth group, Rejuvenate, to our senior Baccalaureate services and everything in between.

High School Ministries

We at King of Kings believe that growing in faith is a lifelong journey. It’s a journey that starts when we enter into formal education in Pre-K and winds its way through Middle School, High School and beyond.

Welcome To Rejuvenate!

Wednesdays, 8:00–9:00 p.m. in the Youth Room
Rejuvenate is our new High School Youth group opportunity for any and all current 9th–12th graders. This is an opportunity for students to gather, to laugh, to talk and to learn about Jesus—to connect with their peers and talk about life together, and for students to continue to build relationships with one another. There will be games, snacks and lots of fun! And we want YOU to come check it out!

9th Grade Confirmation/Affirmation of Faith Services

Confirmation services at King of Kings will take place on October 30, 2022.

Small Groups

Small Groups offer deeper relationships and a more in-depth look at topics that students are interested in and help select.
Sundays, 6:00 p.m. Led by Elizabeth
Sundays, 7:00 p.m. Led by Laura
This is an AMAZING opportunity to meet together with other students for a time of conversation and growing together in your faith! At our first meeting, registered participants will pick a book of the bible for our first study. This is a low-key opportunity to get to know your peers and grow your faith in high school and beyond. If you have questions, please email Michael Carmack for more details. Click here to register for one of the groups!

12th Grade Senior Baccalaureate Services

Baccalaureate Services are held in May at our regular services. For additional information or to assist in planning this event, please contact Michael Carmack.

College Scholarship

Each year, King of Kings grants one-time financial scholarships to incoming undergraduates who are qualified and deserving applicants attending a four-year college or university affiliated with the ELCA. For additional information or questions, email Michael Carmack. Please check back in the spring for the application.

For a full list of ELCA colleges and universities and more information about them, visit www.elca.org.
