Welcome to MomCo!
Let’s build a community of moms experiencing similar joys and hardships as we navigate life with young children! MomCo is an international organization supporting mothers of infants through school aged children. Meeting two Monday evenings a month during the school year, the King of Kings sponsored group members learn from speakers, enjoy craft nights, play games, engage in fun icebreakers, and participate in service projects! Come join us, we can’t wait to meet you.

Years with MomCo: 5
A note from Hannah: One of my favorite parts about MomCo is momswap! It’s where you bring in your unwanted kid clothes, toys, or household items to a meeting and other members and you can ‘shop’ what has been brought in! Everything is free. It’s a great way to get rid of items sitting around your house and you can come home with some great finds!
Lauren
Years with MomCo: 3
A note from Lauren: Three years ago I found MomCo after becoming a new mom, with no friends in the same stage of life as me to relate to. My favorite part of MomCo is how hilariously open we can be with each other about literally anything related to motherhood, and bonding over the odd things our kids say and do. Being the youngest mom in the group, I have learned so much this way that I probably would not have learned anywhere else because we have open conversations. This group fills my cup so much, and my husband now knows that “MomCo Monday” is something I won’t miss.

Years with MomCo: 5 (3 at KoK)
A note from Allison: My favorite thing about MomCo (besides connecting with other moms!) are the speakers we bring in. It’s always such good information that I wouldn’t have access to otherwise, and I love that all of it is tailored to motherhood/a mom’s perspective. From parenting strategies, to maternal mental health, to finances, there isn’t a speaker we’ve had that I haven’t learned something from.
Katie
Years with MomCo: 5
A note from Katie: Working from home and having an extroverted personality can clash. That coupled with having a husband and four children also at home with me all day, I need to get out and do something for myself. I need conversations with other women who can relate. My favorite part about MomCo are the women who attend. We are all there with the common goal of connecting while navigating a very specific season of life. We may have never met otherwise. We laugh together, we cry together (sometimes simultaneously) and we are also really good at critiquing holiday rom-coms together.

What are the meeting details?
MomCo meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month during the school year from 7:00-9:00pm in the King of Kings Holy Grounds Cafe. Dates for this year are listed here.
Do I need to be Christian to attend?
No, you do not need to be Christian to attend. While there is a brief prayer and occasional discussions about faith during meetings, MomCo is not a Bible study group. It is a community group focused on motherhood where all are welcome.
How much are dues?
Dues are $62 ($25 local fee and $37 to Momco International) and the links to pay are listed on the registration document. If cost is a concern, please contact us at MomCo@kingofkingswoodbury.org to discuss payment solutions. We have scholarships available!
Can we bring kids?
Childcare is not currently available during meetings. Our meetings are a place for moms to unwind, socialize, and make new connections! Young babies are welcome to attend. Once they become more fidgety and mobile we ask that they stay home so as not to cause a distraction to you or other moms!
