Music at King of Kings

The King’s Choir

The King’s Choir performs special music approximately once a month during the traditional worship services on Sunday mornings (9:30 a.m.). This choir is open to all singers ages high school and up. Interested in joining the King’s Choir? Come to practice on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary. For more information, contact Jim Lindstrom.

Worship Band

The Worship Band leads our 10:45 a.m. Sunday service. The team leads worship with a variety of contemporary Christian songs and modern hymn arrangements. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. We’re always looking for new talent! Instrumentalists and vocalists are added to the team by audition. If you would like to share your talent, contact Sam Johnson.

All the King's Men

All the King’s Men is a male choir that sings special music approximately once a month at the traditional worship services on Sunday mornings (9:30 a.m.). If you’re interested in singing with All the King’s Men, join the group during practice on Wednesday evenings from 8:15-9:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. For more information contact Jim Lindstrom.

Jesus Jammers

The Jesus Jammers music group is an excellent way for children to share Christ’s love in a fun, energetic, and musical way. The group sings approximately once a month at both Sunday services and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:00 p.m. during the school year. The JuBELLation Ringers

This group participates in worship about once a month and plays a variety of music arrangements. No experience is required. All you need is a joy for music in worship! For more information about joining The JuBELLation Ringers, contact Jim Lindstrom.

The King’s Heralds Brass Ensemble

The King’s Heralds Brass Ensemble plays brass quartet and quintet arrangements of a variety of styles. This group also leads congregational hymns with the organ about once a month at our traditional services. The group rehearses on Sundays from 11 a.m. to Noon. New musicians are always welcome! For more information about joining the Brass Ensemble, contact Jim Lindstrom.

Interested in serving in worship?

Over 100 volunteers dedicate hours of their time to make worship possible each week. Through sharing their specific gifts and talents, these generous individuals come together to give King of Kings a uniquely warm community that stands out among other churches in Woodbury. If you would like to sign up to serve in worship, contact Kathy Becher.

If you are interested in joining our Production & Tech team, contact Jake Pickett. The production and tech team makes everything you see and hear at worship possible. They manage the audio, visual, and lighting aspects at all of our worship services and other special events. They create a great worship experience by running the sound board, operating the slides, playing videos, adjusting the lighting within the sanctuary and so much more!

Welcome to the Holy Grounds Café

Our Holy Grounds Café is a warm place to connect with your friends, neighbors, and family of faith before and after Sunday service. Coffee, connection, and good conversation are also available Friday mornings with our 50’s+ Group.

Holy Grounds is the perfect place to celebrate God’s grace. Stop by for a hot or cold beverage and delicious food; you can even volunteer to help serve! Contact us below to learn more about our volunteer opportunities.

Fridays: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
