First Communion Registration

First Communion Instruction and Celebration is for our 4th grade and older students who have
not yet had communion instruction. Students will observe and explore key concepts of
communion through observation, learning and writing a special prayer.

Registration closes on February 10th.

Key dates for families:
Observation: Sunday, February 22
Workshop (only need to attend one, adult is expected to attend with child): February 22 from 1:30-4:00pm or March 1 from 1:00–3:30pm
First Communion Prayers Due: March 18
Maundy Thursday: April 2 at 5:30pm or 7:00pm- Please keep an eye out for future communication about signing up for a service time.

Contact Paula Arland if you absolutely cannot attend either workshop. Note that many of the activities in the workshop cannot be experienced at home.

Recipe will make 2 loaves. Please save 1 loaf to donate for Maundy Thursday worship.

Volunteer Opportunity: I can help prepare/donate food for the First Communion Workshop.(Required)
