God’s GALS Summer Series

God’s GALS invites you to join us in a wonderful 3-Part Summer Series study, especially designed for a relaxed summertime schedule. Each month will come with its own stand-alone theme for the month…so you’re welcome to join in for all three sessions, or pick and choose which ones work best for your schedule. These themes will tie in with Pastor Dan’s Lenten sermon series messages on UP (our
relationship with God), IN (our relationship with other believers), and OUT (our relationship with the world).

SESSION THEMES:

June 7th – Will be an introduction and discussion of the book, “Dangerous
Prayers: Because Following Jesus Was Never Meant To Be Safe” by best-selling
author Craig Groeschel. Please purchase your book early and read Part 1 (‘Search
Me’ – pp. 22-55). We’ll discuss these pages on June 7th.

July 12th – Our theme will be ‘Applying God’s Word to Your Heart’. Studying God’s Word helps us to better understand Scripture, but if we leave a Bible Study and never apply it to our lives, we’re missing out! Our discussion and focus for this month will center around methods used to gain a better understanding of God’s Word and then to apply it to our lives.

August 9th – Our final session will celebrate the theme ‘Preparing Your Heart for Worship’.
Study will be offered Wednesday mornings (June 7th, July 12th, and August 9th ) 9:30-11:30 a.m. and will meet in the Youth Room. After study, you’re invited to join us in the café for lunch and some fun fellowship time!

Feel free to bring a sack lunch from home or enjoy items available for purchase from King of Kings’ Holy
Grounds Café. Cost of the study is a $10 registration fee, payable to King of Kings. Please purchase your own book for June’s discussion from Amazon or Christianbook.com. There will be no purchase necessary for July’s or August’s discussions. Childcare will be available.

Register below by June 4th.
