More Than a Church—We’re A Place to Call Home

We are igniting the new year with a new game plan for connecting men to Jesus and to each other! We will start by meeting every second Saturday morning at the church, tackling the following topics:

-The Seduction of Sin

-The Power of Belief

-The Remaking of the Mind

-The Design of Desire

-The Impact of Accountability

The mission of Loaves and Fishes is to provide healthy meals to Minnesotans in areas where need is greatest. Through their community meals program, more than 4 million meals were served in 2022. King of Kings serves a meal at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in St. Paul on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

We are happy to announce that we are starting the official process of seeking an Associate Pastor.  Below you can find the members of our official call/search committee. Town Hall Meeting updates:

1. Ministry Site Profile – congregational input: The Call Committee has created our Ministry Site Profile (MSP) and received approval from the congregation at three Town Hall meetings on January 15, 2023: 9:30am & 10:45am in the Multi-Purpose Room and 1:00 via Zoom.

2. The Synod will post the MSP to provide prospective pastors with information about who we are as a congregation and our needs for an Associate Pastor.

3. Call for ‘nominations’ from the congregation: In addition, the Call Committee will receive nominations for candidates from the congregation thru February 15, 2023.

4. Use of Search Firms: The Call Committee is beginning the process of identifying search firms who might be able to identify candidates for us. If the Synod is unable to find viable candidates for us, then we will engage a search committee to help us identify external candidates.
